The most unplayable game for me is warrios of the north, due to constant crashing - excpecially when facing lizardmen.

This installment is not better of worse than the others. Regarding the other issues, the serie as a whole suffer from bad translations, missing dialogues, crashings and broken features.

I got my atoms rearranged several times in the process I must confess - but I had a lot of fun! I played crossworlds for a year before beating it on HARD level whitout dying even once. For me the satifaction is not winning but in the effort. Personally I prefer games that are difficult or even close to impossible. If this is an issue or not, depends heavily how a player reacts to the difficulty of a game. Excpecially for those who play using the time factor as an issue, or who do not accept any defeat but restart the game every time they lose a battle. But this installment is difficult during early midgame. I think that most players agree that this is the best game of the entie series. Legions is a facebook game yeah and you can see that as a side project.I beg to differ. Warriors of the North and Dark Side ain't bad, though Dark Side is the weakest part of them all. And there are more people who favor AP/CW above TL. A better game it ain't and that is also just a matter of taste. It's not needed to get KB:TL first, as the only thing which it has in common is the princess and the King and in AP/CW you're going after the hero of KB:TL. KB: Legions is a facebook game with some of the same art assets, don't really consider it part of the series. warriors of the north and darkside aren't worth it unless you've played the first two to death and need more of the same but crappier. AP/Crossworlds is definitely worth playing if you liked that though.
